Hard Part of Healing was written by Katie Greene & Kathryn Rose Wood after discussions surrounding the things we leave behind as we grow. Produced by Phil Barnes of Nashville, TN, Greene submitted Hard Part of Healing to Phil as part of his yearly contest for a day of studio time. Hard Part of Healing was selected amongst numerous submissions, and so began the journey and creative collaboration that would eventually culminate in Katie Greene’s debut full length record, Emerald.
